Muay Thai Lanta Gym

Lanta Gym is owned and managed by Decha Rodraksa, a former Muay Thai world champion from Trang province, who settled down on Koh Lanta Island. His personality and the other trainers in the team, create an excellent atmosphere with years of experience in all aspects of Muay Thai Boxing. Other past and present champions are around to help every student to get the most out of their training.

Lanta Gym on Koh Lanta Island welcomes male and female students from all backgrounds, even children can train in a safe and relaxed environment under the guidance of our fully qualified instructors from well-known gyms in Bangkok.

A typical trainig day starts at 06:00 with one hour running. We run together and after return start training in the Lanta Gym. We practice shadow boxing, bag work and pad work. When the morning training is finished, there is time for exploring the island or enjoy Koh Lanta Island's Long Beach, which is just a few minutes away. In the afternoon we repeat running and training in the same way as during the morning lesson. There are two lessons available, with many of the experienced fighters taking part in both. For those athletes training for fun, missing a lesson is no problem and our trainers will adjust every class to the students taking part.

For the Muay Thai boxer with past experience, Lanta Gym can train you for competitions all over Thailand under the close supervision of the former world champion and owner Decha Rodraksa. We can help you fight your way from Koh Lanta Island right to the top in Bangkok.

Or just come along to use our state-of-the-art fitness facilities. This is the only place of its kind in the whole province of Krabi. The fitness center is fully equipped with professional work-out equipment, weights and treadmills, it is air-conditioned and only minutes away from Koh Lanta Island's Long Beach. Koh Lanta Gym is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. During this time there are fully qualified trainers taking care of the athletes teaching traditional Muay Thai Boxing.
